For Those Wedding In Chicago - Here's How To Get A Photographer

By Karin Garcia

I know so many ways to allow you get better wedding photography for cheaper than you ever thought. In this article I will share with you my favorite trick. You should give amateur, non-professional photographers a chance. Some of the best wedding photographers are people who have never done it commercially. They only shoot out of love for the art and they shoot for friends and family. If you find one of these people and offer them money to do it for you, it's a great idea.

The best way to finding these people is using the powers of the internet. Just search for photographer communities or galleries. This is where photographers get together to share their work in a community dedicated to the art. You can then find which of the better artists are in Chicago, and then go see their work, see which person's photos you like the best, especially if they do weddings.

You would then contact them, compliment them on their work and explain how even though you know they're not a "photo studio" you would love to have them shoot your wedding, and then ask them how much it would cost. Tell you would pay whatever their price is . Don't worry; they will give you very cheap rates way below what photo studios charge for.

Now, it's not all pros and advantages. The one thing that arty photographers don't tend to be versed in, is prints. Especially in the age of digital photography where many of them may have never printed a single of their own photographs. This means that if you deal with a photographer like this, you will have to print your own photos, the photographer will only deliver them as digital files. This means printing on your own might be more expensive per-print than if you went with a studio doing the actual shooting.

Even though you won't get rates for the printing that are as low as a photo studio shooting would, if you combine the complete costs it will still come out cheaper than hiring a studio to do everything from shoot to organize to print. You just need a very talented amateur.
