An Amazingly Wonderful Product - Best Waterproof Digital Camera Critique

By Brandon Lee

The best feature I have used so far is the panoramic view and how easy it is to use and how it leaves part of the last frame on there so you can line it up just right. I have also used it in low light and I amazed with how well it captured the bon fire and we could still see all the faces of the people around the fire as well. In even the slightest low light, the image quality was extremely noisy. The panorama was also terrible - it was better to do it on manual, which is very time consuming to line up the images, than the "easy" auto. Select the option that allows you to talk to a person! The tech support number [hard to find on the website] is 888-553-4448.

Definitely look forward to buying from seller again! You had better be a mind reader to figure out how to operate it. Unfortunately it does not allow adding a date stamp directly on the jpeg image files. Not good. All of my photos taken with the 6020 are perfect, unless I do something wrong. Read the directions and anyone who buys this great little camera will love it and have great success with sharp, clean, well colored photos! With much research and review reading, we decided to get this camera. Over the past month it has performed just as good, if not better than our old one.

I shoot Canon (SLR and a point and shoot) so I knew I would be facing an adjustment, but I refuse to sacrifice image quality. The picture quality was awful, even in normal, non-low light, situations.

I wanted a waterproof camera I could take while fly fishing and not worry about it getting rained on or soaked if I fell in the river. The environment this camera withstood is a testament to how good a product it is; it rained nearly every day, the temp varied each day from low 40s to mid 60s F. I needed something durable and small for taking pictures while out with my toddler. This camera has been through the ringer already when she plays with it!

It was a great buy! It's really fun to use around water, like waterparks, the pool and amusement parks. It cannot be dropped, but I don't feel like throwing it either! I recently got this camera as a gift and it is alright.

Overall this camera is awesome, I took it white water rafting and it held up great (I didn't submerge it but it definitely got wet and bumped around). It is a great camera for outdoor lovers who don't want to lug a huge camera around, are disappointed with cellphone pic quality, and want to take pictures everywhere they go.

What is the real difference between; "Automatically optimizes the camera's settings based on the shooting situation" and "The camera is set automatically based on the scene." There are 11 scene modes and 21 sub-scene modes.
